For those who have been following along, the board has been searching for a property management company to take over the day-to-day activities of managing our community. After months of review and deliberation, the board finally selected RealManage – Houston (RM). As of December 1, 2022, they are officially “on the clock”!
In the coming weeks, you will be receiving a welcome letter containing what you need to know to setup a login for our resident portal as well as some details on what you can expect from RM. At a high-level, they are a comprehensive service that specialize in addressing areas that include, but are not limited to, deed restriction management, accounts receivable/payable, annual assessment billing, and the collection of past due fees. They bring with them, a suite of tools that will be used for tracking homeowner concerns, billing, architectural requests, as well as serve as a communication hub between all residents and the board.
The board and I would like you to know that just because we’ve hired a property management company, doesn’t mean you cannot communicate with us any longer. We will still be accessible to you, our neighbors. However, we do ask that you give our new company a chance at providing us with exceptional service. Since we cannot know how every interaction will go, we are counting on you, to provide us with feedback. Your feedback positive or negative, will be instrumental in helping us decide if in a year’s time, we will renew our contract with RM.
